“We have stayed here for 8 summers and 1 autumn. Good reason for this; we love it! The cottage is always clean and ready. It is cozy and in a great location. A bonus is Brewery Creek that flows next to the cottage and can be heard babbling. What a peaceful surrounding! Phillip is a wonderful host. We look forward to seeing him every year. We also love the bonfires on the beach and the stunning sunsets. With no light pollution, the night sky is beautiful here on the Keweenaw. Can’t say enough good about this gem of a place!” – Barb

We toured the entire Keweenaw and Houghton/Hancock by Harley and enjoyed every minute. Mine tours, museums, historic old towns, breweries, and great restaurants were on the agenda. The cottage and grounds were clean and cozy with sounds of the babbling brook right outside the window and the waves of Lake Superior crashing on the beach. We also went kayaking, rock picking, sunbathed and just relaxed on the beach. When returning to the Keweenaw we will definitely be back!” – Tom

Philip’s cottages always contain fresh cut flowers giving one a warm feeling when first entering the cottage. The cottage provides easy access to Lake Superior for great beach walking and agate hunting. We always seem to see bald eagles while walking the beach.
